Buyout terms.
Applies only to Monthly Plans. One-Time + Monthly Care Plans already include ownership, so there's nothing to buy out. A client on a Monthly Plan can buy out at any time and keep the site outright — the amount depends on how long they've been on the plan.

During your minimum term, a buyout converts the months you still owe into a purchase, plus a modest fee for the early ownership transfer. After the minimum term, the fee steps down the longer you've been on the plan — you're never locked in. Contact us to start a buyout.

Frequently asked questions
Both include your website, hosting, SSL, and ongoing support — the difference is how you split the cost. "One-time + low monthly" front-loads most of the cost so your monthly bill stays as low as $49–69/mo. "Monthly only" spreads the entire cost across your monthly payment, up to $1,000/mo, with nothing due upfront.
If you can cover a bigger cost now, the one-time + low monthly plan saves you money over time. If you'd rather keep cash upfront and pay it off through your monthly rate instead, the monthly-only plan is built for that.
Monthly-only plans start with a 6-month minimum term, which covers the cost of building your site. One-time + low monthly plans have no minimum term on the monthly portion, since the build itself is already paid for upfront — cancel the care plan anytime. Either way, after any minimum term you're month-to-month and can cancel with 30 days' notice.
On a one-time + low monthly plan, your site is already paid for and yours to keep — cancelling just stops the hosting/care add-on. On a monthly-only plan, you can't just cancel and walk away with a live site — instead you buy out the remaining commitment and keep the site outright. Extra update time is billed at a simple hourly rate, or you can upgrade to a higher plan at any point if you find you need more ongoing support.
